service Corinthian is also committed to public service. As individuals and as a business, we believe ourselves responsible for improving the quality of the communities in which we live as well as the larger environment that we all share. Moreover, we seek to work with partners and clients who share our commitment and worldview. Laura, for example, has been a frequent lecturer at the University of Oregon’s MBA program and Holden Leadership Center and has supervised students at both the Lundquist School of Business and the School of Law. She has been a frequent judge at the UO’s internationally renowned New Venture Championship business plan competition, and has served on various committees at the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, she has joined federal judge Ann Aiken and various Portland business leaders on the Steering Committee for the 2009 Northwest Women’s Leadership Conference. Laura has also been a volunteer and advocate for a variety of youth organizations, including sitting on the board of directors of Committed Partners for Youth/Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lane County and serving as the media chairperson for Stand for Children. She is also a Sunday school teacher at the First Congregational Church in Eugene, Oregon and the editor of the Toucan Times, her daughter’s elementary school newsletter. Meanwhile, Michele Kuhnle, our summer Marketing Intern, is a volunteer at the Western Environmental Law Center and has been active in a variety of enivornmental policy organizations. Corinthian consultants make regular in-kind contributions of time and talent to local non-profit organizations that need assistance with marketing, strategic planning or public relations.
