Corinthian Consulting Podcasts

Corinthian works with a wide variety of clients – from entrepreneurial start-ups to large multi-national corporations – and across a multitude of industries.  Having worked on three continents, our consultants excel at adapting cutting-edge marketing and leadership theories to the practical needs of growing organizations.

Prior to founding Corinthian, for example, our President, Laura Illig, worked in New York and London for several Fortune 500 companies, including Citibank, Salomon Smith Barney, and Bausch & Lomb.  As a result, we understand the intricacies and nuances of very large, matrixed organizations.

At the same time, Corinthian consultants also understand the particular needs and goals of entrepreneurial and growth-stage companies.  Some of our earliest clients included Café Yumm! – one of the nation’s fastest-growing new restaurant franchises – and MyLife Fitness, an early-stage health club franchise.  We have also served as executive coaches for various individuals and entrepreneurs.

Our industry focus is varied.  For example, Corinthian has done a considerable amount of work of late for credit unions, where our clients are spread throughout the country and include the Credit Union National Association.  Meanwhile, our consultants have direct  experience in healthcare and higher education, having counseled both the University of Oregon and the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. We have also done work for a variety of local medical practices and even OrNda Healthcorp – at the time a chain of forty-eight hospitals. Finally, we have been a pioneer in representing clients like the Bowerman Center for Environmental Law in the area of green marketing and have presented to businesses on the importance of green marketing in various national media.

One thing that unites all of our clients, however, is their uncompromising commitment to excellence.  Several of these companies have been named among the “Top 100 Companies to Work for in America” by Fortune magazine, while others have won similar awards at the state and local levels.  Meanwhile, Wegmans Food Markets, a $3 billion supermarket chain for whom we have done human resources projects, has been described as “the best chain in the country, maybe in the world” by the Wall Street Journal.

Our expertise is both broad and deep, and there is a good chance we can be of service to you or your organization.  Please contact us if you would like to discuss how we can tailor our expertise to your needs.
